Welcome to Arc Life! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how we run our store and what you can expect when you shop with us. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Return Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Who We Are
Arc Life Co. offers practical digital tools for welders and fabrication shops, plus welding-themed lifestyle apparel and gear. Our physical products are made to order; our digital products are delivered electronically.
2. Shopping With Us
Made-to-order items: Physical products are created after you order. Once production starts, we generally cannot cancel orders.
Colors & designs: Because items are printed or produced individually, small variations in color or placement may occur.
Right to refuse orders: We may cancel an order if there are issues with payment, inventory, or if we believe it violates our policies.
Arc Life apparel is lifestyle apparel unless a specific listing explicitly states otherwise. Ordinary apparel is not FR-rated PPE or protective welding clothing and is not intended as protection during active welding.
3. Payments & Pricing
Prices are shown in USD unless otherwise noted. Taxes, shipping, and duties may apply. Payments are handled securely through Shopify and trusted processors. If your payment does not go through, we may cancel your order.
4. Shipping & Delivery
Made-to-order production is estimated at approximately 2–5 business days. Standard transit after production is approximately 5–10 business days; express transit, where available at checkout, is approximately 2–5 business days after production. These are estimates, not guarantees. Eligible U.S. orders of $50 or more receive free standard shipping. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Once your order leaves our fulfillment partner, delays caused by carriers, customs, or weather are out of our control. Risk of loss passes to you once the order is handed over to the shipping carrier, subject to applicable law.
5. Returns & Refunds
We do not offer general buyer-remorse returns or exchanges on made-to-order physical products once production has started, including changes of mind or incorrect size selections.
If a physical item arrives damaged, defective, misprinted, or incorrect, contact info@thewelderslife.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos. After verification, we will provide a replacement, refund, or other appropriate remedy. Do not send an item back without instructions from us. See our Refund & Return Policy.
6. Digital Products
Digital products are downloads; nothing ships. They are generally final sale once download access has been provided, except where required by law. If a file is corrupted, defective, or materially different from its description, contact us within 7 days of purchase with your order number and a description of the problem so we can verify it and provide a corrected file or appropriate remedy.
Check each listing for included files, software compatibility, license, and limitations. Google Sheets compatibility is not guaranteed unless the listing explicitly says so. Digital tools support recordkeeping and planning; they do not replace professional judgment or required safety procedures.
7. Intellectual Property
Our designs, logos, and content belong to Arc Life. Please do not copy, resell, or misuse them. If you upload content, such as a custom design, you confirm you have the rights to use it. Digital purchases are subject to the license stated in the listing and included files.
8. Being Fair
Use our Services respectfully. Do not break the law using our site or products; upload offensive or illegal content or content that violates someone else’s rights; or disrupt or misuse our website.
9. Liability
We work hard to provide great products, but sometimes mistakes happen. To the extent permitted by law, our responsibility is limited to the amount you paid for the product in question, and we are not liable for indirect damages such as lost profits, delays, or issues caused by shipping carriers. These Terms do not limit rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
10. Indiana Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes must be handled in Indiana courts, subject to applicable law.
11. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our business, services, or the law. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new last-updated date.
